Ingredients (for 2 cup tea)
- Tea powder – 2 tsp
- Black pepper (crushed) – 4
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Milk – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Sugar – 2 tsp
Boil a cup of water in a tea pan, add ginger, crushed black pepper, and boil for 2-3 mins until you get the nice aroma.
- Add milk, sugar and tea leaves or tea powder. Simmer for 3-4 minutes and bring it to boil.
- Switch off the flame and with the help of a fine mesh sieve filter out the tea powder and spices.
Finally, serve the Tea/ chai with cookies/ breadsticks or with any breakfast recipes.
